Technical Advice

Technical Advice

Our technical advisory group apply a forensic eye to those many complex issues you face pre-, during and post-construction. By sharing over a century of experience in auditing, testing and reviewing, we help drive higher standards across our industry, and in our own work.

"We can provide the trust, expertise and analytical support required by any Client for today’s complex construction process."

We provide specialist technical expertise as integral or additional services on projects across all major sectors and across all disciplines.

As an RIBA Chartered Practice, we are committed to delivering the highest professional, ethical and best practice standards in architecture. Our experienced architects and technologists have specialisms in BIM, sustainable design, heritage and conservation, Inclusive Design, detail design and design delivery and provide practical and creative solutions to technical challenges on all projects.

Client Monitoring

Where clients have novated their design teams to design and build contractors, we offer to clients an independent monitoring service for the architectural element of their project. We monitor the project during construction against the employer’s requirements and contractors proposals. This includes joint inspections and reporting on mock ups, quality benchmarks, finished work and endorsing the issue of Practical Completion.

Building Information Management (BIM)

Fully committed to supporting clients in the BIM process, we can provide extensive guidance to clients and project teams and adopt a unified and collaborative approach. We can provide the specialist role of Information Manager.

Scott Brownrigg was an early adopter of CAD technologies in the UK. Embracing BIM is business as usual and part of the Practice’s commitment to technology, innovation and continual improvement. The Practice is currently progressing towards BIM Level 2 certification.

Inclusive Design
Scott Brownrigg place people at the heart of the design process and design places that everyone- regardless of disability, age, gender, sexual orientation or faith- can enjoy confidently and independently with choice and dignity.
